Key Aspects of Groundworks

• Site Clearance: 

  Removing any existing structures, debris, or unwanted topsoil from the construction area. 

• Excavation and Earthworks: 

  Digging out the ground to the required depth and level, often involving removing large amounts of soil. 

• Grading: 

  Shaping the land by altering its slopes and contours to ensure proper drainage and create a stable, flat surface for building. 

• Foundation Construction: 

  Building the structural base of the building, such as strip or trench fill foundations, which spread the building's load to prevent settlement. 

• Underground Utilities: 

  Installing necessary infrastructure below the surface, such as drainage systems, water pipes, electrical cables, gas lines, and communication ducts.
